on the seventh floor i encounter a zombie. a zombie is the reanimated form of any monster capable of leaving a corpse. there are only two sprites for zombies - one for small zombies and one for big ones - so simply looking at the creature's image won't tell me anything.

i press x, for "examine". now i can move the cursor onto items or monsters to get their descriptions.

moving the cursor onto the zombie, it reveals itself as a simple hobgoblin zombie. not a threat at all!
